An Unexpected Evening of Music awaits on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at Pikes Peak Center for an evening of Americana String Band music by Old Crow Medicine Show. The band will travel from Casper, Wyoming to Salt Lake City, Utah and all points in between before arriving in Colorado Springs.
OCMS will perform songs from their new release “Union Made”, out everywhere on Friday, June 5th, 2026, plus many fan favorites, such as “Wagon Wheel”, “Revolution Now”, “My Side of the Mountain”, “Last American Waltz”, and “Howdy Do America”. As two-time Grammy Award winners, and winner of the Grammy for Best Folk Album for “Remedy” in 2015, the 5-piece string band continues to thrill audiences everywhere and has been touring the globe for many years.
They are also Trailblazer Award winners from the Americana Music Association, and official members of the Grand Ole Opry. They have also had many #1 Bluegrass Albums chart releases and have been nominated for multiple Grammy Awards. The band started touring back in 1998 performing as street corner buskers in New York City and have since been playing 250+ shows a year for 25+ years of traditional American roots music that blends the old with the new.
Pikes Peak Center is located at 190 South Cascade Avenue in the heart of downtown Colorado Springs, CO. This 1982 performing arts complex features a theater-style, fixed seating configuration in the Orchestra/Loge in the Orchestra/Loge on the main floor, Mezzanine, Balcony and Box seating areas. Total seating capacity at Pikes Peak Center is 1,989.
At Pikes Peak Center, guests can enjoy cashless concessions in the venue managed by OVG Hospitality. Pikes Peak Center also offers pre-show dining and catering for events. An ATM is also located on site for guest convenience. The venue is fully accessible and features diaper-changing stations in restrooms. Strollers are not permitted in seating areas. The closest and most convenient option for parking would be the El Paso County Parking Structure. This structure is just steps from the Pikes Peak Center and will be $5 per car (credit card only) collected by an attendant at the entrance to the structure two hours prior to the show time. There are also many metered on-street parking spaces throughout the downtown area that are within walking distance to the Pikes Peak Center. The Pikes Peak Center also has designated parking for people with disabilities.
